Mr. Filipić, former professional footballer turned investor and real estate operator, whose path from the pitch to property reflects a relentless ‘Taking Care of Business’ mindset.

Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, Filipic’s professional football journey began at just 15 years old. His talent took him to Europe, where he played for top Croatian clubs including HNK Dinamo Zagreb, Hajduk Split, Sesvete, and Dugopolje in both the first and second divisions. He also competed in the UEFA Youth Champions League, sharing the field with some of Europe’s most promising young talent.

At age 21, Filipic spent some time in Florida, USA, where he gained early real estate experience working with Century 21 and Harcourts. That international exposure helped shape his understanding of global property markets.

Upon returning to Australia, he continued his journey with RE/MAX on the Gold Coast and some exposure with NGU Real Estate, followed by roles with Century 21 and One Agency offices in Sydney — gaining hands-on experience across diverse property segments and market conditions.

During this period, Filipić began gaining valuable experience in the private lending and investment space with Top Step Fiannce, working closely on joint ventures and assisting in raising capital through second-tier and private funding solutions deepening his understanding of financial structuring and the mechanics behind strategic property investment.

These experiences laid the foundation for the launch of TCB Realty, a boutique agency specialising in off-market acquisitions, luxury real estate, and strategic property repositioning throughout New South Wales. Built on performance, trust, and precision, TCB Realty reflects Filipic’s commitment to delivering next-level property solutions.

His wider vision under the "TCB" philosophy expands beyond real estate:

1. Training?

Non Negotiable wake up time of 3:45am. First 4hrs of the day is my personal development time and Moring Workout. Business strategy sessions, Speaking to buyers & sellers, lunch, property site visits, dinner, research and planning, sleep — repeat.

2. When and why did you start training for football?

I started playing football at 7, driven by pure love for the game. But when talks of my first professional contract began at 15, everything changed. Football stopped being just a passion — it became my job, and I became the business. I realised my success wasn’t just mine; it fueled those around me — ( my manager, my family ). Knowing that my wins meant everyone else was winning too gave me a deeper purpose. It wasn’t just about playing anymore — it was about leading, providing, and proving that the sacrifices were worth it.

3. Do you have any heroes?
No, My hero is myself 10 years from now.

In saying that, My Mentor Was Branco Balič, an Underworld Figure in the 90's, taught me resilience and never giving up. I recommend everyone, doesn't matter what stage in life, should have a mentor.

4. What does it mean for you to build your businesses?
It’s about more than money — it’s about proving that with hard work and the right mindset, you can build an empire from nothing. Every win reminds me that resilience and vision are unstoppable.

5. Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn?

No degree. INVEST IN YOURSELF. Do whatever it takes to get things done. Become a problem Solver.

6. What was your job before you started your businesses?

Professional footballer from age 15, playing across Europe and Australia. When that chapter ended, I didn’t stop — I took the same work ethic and built Top Step Finance, TCB Realty, and now starting an online Real Estate App for Agents Called "GRANDIS"

7. Favorite business strategy?

INVEST IN YOURSELF. INVEST IN A MENTOR.
